Meet the Team
Jordan spent several years building a successful video production business, where he learned the value of marketing, networking, and building relationships. Over the last five years, he’s expanded his expertise into search engine optimization and digital marketing, helping businesses reach more people online and turn website visitors into customers.
Amy has been designing and developing websites for more than 20 years. She owns her own creative business and has worked with businesses of all sizes to build professional websites that are easy to use and built with search engines in mind. In addition to web design, she also offers photography, video production, and ongoing website support.

Meet Jordan
Jordan McMillen began his creative career in 2003, producing independent films and music videos. In 2005, he founded Cut ‘N’ Run Productions, and by 2007 had opened his first production studio on Banksville Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As his business grew, Jordan expanded into commercial video production, marketing content, and live sports broadcasting. In 2015, he purchased and renovated a historic movie theater in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood, transforming it into a full-scale production studio that supported a team of four full-time employees.
Throughout his years in business, Jordan worked with several web design companies but often found it difficult to maintain a consistent brand identity and retain control of his online presence. That experience led him to learn web design himself, recognizing that a business’s website is one of its most valuable marketing assets. His goal became not only to create websites that look great and perform well, but also to ensure clients truly own and control their online presence.
To bring that vision to life, Jordan partnered with longtime web consultant Amy Essington. Together, they combined decades of experience in marketing, branding, web development, and digital strategy to create CNR Web Design, a company dedicated to building websites that help businesses grow while giving clients the knowledge and freedom to manage their investment with confidence.
Meet Amy
Amy Essington has been designing websites and building digital experiences for more than two decades. Her career has been centered on helping businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs strengthen their online presence through thoughtful web design, search engine optimization, and digital marketing strategies.
Before co-founding CNR Web Design, Amy spent several years working in the news industry, where she managed multiple company websites, optimized content for search engines, monitored website analytics, and developed digital marketing strategies that increased audience engagement and online growth. Her background in journalism and digital publishing gave her a deep understanding of how users interact with websites and what it takes to create content that performs well in search results.
In addition to her work in web design, Amy is an accomplished photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. Her experience creating visual content allows her to build websites that are not only functional and easy to navigate but also visually compelling and aligned with each client’s brand.
Amy believes every business deserves a website that works as hard as they do. She is passionate about creating fast, accessible, search-engine-friendly websites that generate leads, build credibility, and give business owners complete control over their online presence. Together with Jordan McMillen, she co-founded CNR Web Design to provide businesses with personalized service, honest guidance, and websites built for long-term success.
